2. Visiting the website
Server logs
When you open a page, your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referrer and browser data are processed for technical reasons. This keeps the website secure and stable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Necessary cookies
We use necessary cookies for login, security and language settings, and to store your cookie choice (ar_consent) and a job application started before login (ar_jobs_apply_intents). The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Our own visitor statistics
Using the cookies vsid and __vsmx, we keep a visit identifier and referral details for up to 12 months. In our own database we record your IP address, browser and device data (such as screen resolution, language and time zone), the pages you view, and campaign parameters from links (such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs). When you register, apply or write to us, we link this data to your account or enquiry. This helps us detect abuse and see how visitors find us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics and marketing with consent
Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel only load after you agree in the cookie banner (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. More information is in our cookie policy.
Salary comparator
Your answers in the salary comparator, including your income, are only used to calculate the result. We do not store them.
3. Contact form and enquiries
When you write to us, we process the details from the form: name, email address, phone number, message and, depending on the enquiry, licence category and preferred region or company name and number of drivers needed. We use this data to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
4. Driver account
When you register and complete your profile, we process in particular:
- name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted)
- place of residence, driving licence, ADR, driver card, certificates, work experience and language skills
- preferences for vehicle, route, work schedule and salary
- documents you upload, such as your driving licence, driver card, certificates and CV
- applications and notes by our staff on the placement process
We process this data to run your account, advise you and place you in a job (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). At registration we also determine your approximate location from your IP address using the ip-api.com service, and automatically check your details for spam, to prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Sharing with employers
Registered companies see a candidate list in their area showing name, country, city, vehicle and route preferences, work schedule and desired salary. A company can only see your full profile, including email address, phone number and uploaded documents, after you have applied to one of its jobs (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The company is itself responsible for any further processing of your data.
6. Company account
We process company details, contact persons, contact details and job ads to run your account, publish ads and deliver applications (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Job ads are publicly visible.
7. Automated matching
We automatically calculate how well a driver profile fits a job. The score considers factors such as vehicle, experience, languages, region, work schedule and salary, and supports placement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hiring decisions are made only by the company, not by an automated process. If the automatic spam filter blocks your account, you can contact us and we will review the block personally.
8. Recipients and service providers
These providers process data on our behalf or as providers in their own right, to the extent stated:
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen: hosting, servers in Germany
- Cloudflare, Inc., USA: website delivery and protection

We only share data with authorities where the law requires it.
9. Transfers to third countries
Some providers are based in the USA or may transfer data there. We rely on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on EU standard contractual clauses (Arts. 45, 46 GDPR).
10. Storage period
We delete personal data once it is no longer needed for its purpose. We keep account data and documents for as long as your account exists or until you ask us to delete them. We keep enquiries until they have been fully handled. Where statutory retention duties apply, especially under commercial and tax law (up to ten years), or where we need data to defend legal claims, we keep it for correspondingly longer.
11. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
To use these rights, write to [email protected].

14. Changes
